Wissam Agsous
Assistant Teacher
Wissam was born and raised in Algeria, where her Berber roots instilled a deep love for community and culture. A decade ago, she moved to the U.S. with her husband, and they eventually settled in California, where they welcomed two wonderful children into their lives.
Wissam earned her master’s degree in Organizational Management and certifications in Data Analytics and Project Management. Before stepping into the classroom, she spent five years working in project management, where she sharpened her skills in solving complex problems and driving insights.
But after becoming a mother, her priorities shifted, and she discovered a deep passion for education, particularly in teaching French to young children. With over four years of experience as a substitute French teacher, she transitioned into the role of an assistant teacher, where she now fosters a love for learning and helps preschoolers develop their language skills through playful exploration.
In her free time, Wissam shares the ups, downs, and delightful chaos of balancing motherhood, career, and passion on her platform, DataMomPreneur, inspiring other moms to chase their professional dreams. When she’s not teaching or writing, you’ll likely find her out in nature, hiking, dancing with her kids, surrounded by good friends, enjoying meaningful moments and laughter.
